CDC
The Birth Defects, Developmental Disabilities and Health Funding Opportunities
page of the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and Prevention lists new funding
opportunities and currently-funded projects in these focus areas.
CFDA
The Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance gives readers access to a database
of all Federal programs available to State and local governments (including
the District of Columbia), as well as other governmental and non-governmental
entities. Program benefits and services outlined in the CFDA are provided
through seven financial types of assistance and eight nonfinancial types of
assistance.
DOL
The Department of Labor's (DOL) Disability Online Grants & Contracts page
offers descriptions of current grantees and projects that strengthen opportunities
for people with disabilities in the workplace.
GRANTS.GOV
This site allows organizations to electronically find and apply for competitive
grant opportunities from all Federal grant-making agencies. Navigation of
the site is simple. The primary topical sections are accessed through the
use of colored tabs and links located at the top of each screen. Links on
the left side of the screen access content within each section. The Get Started
section of the site walks users through the process, step by step.
HHS
The Developmental Disabilities Funding Opportunities page of the Department
of Health and Human Services (HHS) lists developmental disabilities-related
program announcements and other requests for proposals or applications published
by the Department.
NICHD
The National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) Funding
Opportunities page features a broad spectrum of health-related grants including
some with a focus on developmental disabilities/disability issue areas. Request
for applications/proposals, program announcements and grant notices are available.
OSEP
The Department of Education's (ED) Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP)
Grants Resources page provides access to ED grant announcements, application
packages, and forecasts - including those offered by the Office of Special
Education and Rehabilitative Services/National Institute on Disability and
Rehabilitation Research.
RWJ
The Open Call for Proposals page of the Robert Wood Johnson (RWJ) Foundation
Web site lists national health-related programs that are currently accepting
proposals. Disabilities-related and/or -specific programs are often among
those listed.
