Recent developments have shined a spotlight on the crucial role that PASRR can play in the lives of individuals with intellectual disability (ID) and mental illness (MI), and, importantly, how PASRR can be a tool for both diversion and deinstitutionalization, helping states to meet their obligations under the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Supreme Court's Olmstead decision.  This Director's Alert Bulletin provides an overview of PASRR.
